Our February 20th “Cold Hard Cash” open-house, dedicated to 2,000 years of Imperial Chinese coinage, saw many visitors join us throughout the day.
On display were hundreds of examples of early Chinese cash coinage, together with a number of diverse ancient artifacts.
Our warm thanks go out to the Embassy of China, for not only offering us some delightful hanging lamps and other traditional display items, but also for very generously donating an excellent library of art books which were available free of charge to our guests.
The highlight of our open-house was a memorable musical performance by traditional Pipa Master Yadong Guan (hear a sample below). Thanks to all who were able to join us!
